Asia Gallery is FREE on Cultural Day, 3 Nov

How are you spending your autumn season, the best time to enjoy cultural activities?
Fukuoka Asian Art Museum's Asia Gallery (our collection exhibitions) will be open to public for FREE on Cultural Day, 3 November. Our new cafe serves delicious donuts as well. Please visit us to enjoy art on Cultural Day.

Let's look at what's going on in the current collection exhibitions...

Do you see the human figure with really long body?
This camouflage pattern dress has 200 layers.
This sculpture is in a style of Indonesian shadow puppet yet the figures are quite different from traditional puppets.

Our collection exhibition "Fellow Artists! Art Groups in Southeast Asia" introduces 6 groups.
